About

I was born in California and raised in Washington State. After serving as a flight medic in the USAF for 10 years, I decided to move from active duty to the reserves in order to pursue education full-time and start a different path.
 
I now am pursuing my Information Technology: Web Designer and Information Technology: Web and UX Design Associate degrees, scheduled to graduate both in Spring 2024.

My goal is to work as a UI/UX designer as I felt it was a good fit for me because I have small background in art and would love to bring to the table visually striking product which solves problems that businesses and/or users face . I am currently familiar with Adobe Suite and Figma, while also honing my skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my 120lb Malamute Tera, my normal sized husky Nala, and my husband Corey. They put up with me and my 100+ houseplants.  As of now I have been putting my best game-face on with self-learning, which has taken most of my time--but I have faith will pay off!
