In this course we were to learn about the value of social media as well as create a brand identity for personal social media promotion. We learned methods to increase site traffic and engagement by various means like composition, audience research, trying different media types (video/memes (low-quality is unapologetically my favorite!)/education/etc). We also built familiarity with Adobe Express/various other scheduling platforms to couple with a variety of analytics platforms after determining best times/days for posting. We were also exposed to many different free social media creation sites like Canva for quick and easy content creation.
I did not get the best engagement (mostly brand new profiles) but I learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in social media that I will continue to expand on moving forward.
